Ga. 92 turn lane construction begins in Roswell

Work is set to begin Friday, Jan. 18, on new turn lanes at Woodstock Road (Ga. 92) and Bowen Road in Roswell, city officials announced.

Crews for the Georgia Department of Transportation will be extending the westbound left-turn lane of Ga. 92 and adding a right turn lane onto Bowen. The project seeks to decrease congestion at the intersection and is expected to be completed in late May or early June, officials said.

“Drivers can expect minor impacts to the right-of-way,” according to an announcement by the city. “As with any road construction area, please decrease speeds and use extra caution at this intersection.”
