Traffic Alert: Overturned truck causes delays on Alpharetta road

A large truck flipped over in Alpharetta on Friday morning and it is causing delays on a north Fulton County road.

The truck flipped near the intersection of Westside Parkway and Hembree Road.

It has closed the right lane of Westside Parkway and will take about an hour to clean up, said George Gordon, a spokesman for Alpharetta’s Department of Public Safety.

No one was injured in the single-vehicle accident. It occurred before 11 a.m. on Friday.
