Thieves have been targeting Hispanic men at a Bank of America branch in Lilburn for nearly two years, police said.

The thefts began in July 2015, according to a Lilburn Police Department release this week. The three suspects follow Hispanic males as they leave the 3930 Lawrenceville Hwy. branch after withdrawing cash, often on Friday and Saturday mornings. The suspects are two men and a woman, all unidentified.

When the victim arrives at his next destination, one suspect will follow the victim while the other two break into the victim’s car and steal the cash that was just withdrawn from the bank.

Police believe the same suspects have committed similar thefts at a Bank of America branch in Oakwood, a city in Hall County. Anyone with information on these thefts should contact Lilburn police at 770-638-2220.
