It won’t be a factor in Saturday’s Iron Bowl football game, but Auburn University is missing some “equipment” that was a big factor in home games, the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer reported.

It wasn’t helmets and shoulder pads, but thieves made off with “numerous” 43-inch flat-screen televisions and gas generators Auburn used to entertain tailgaters at Jordan-Hare Stadium, the paper reported.

Auburn police reported the goods missing Tuesday from a building on West Samford Avenue, according to the report.

Auburn travels to Tuscaloosa on Saturday for the annual rivalry game against the University of Alabama.
