Two teenage brothers accused of killing a man outside of a gas station are expected to take a plea deal Thursday morning, officials said.
Charlie McDaniel, 17, and Isaac McDaniel, 16, were indicted on murder, aggravated assault, gang activity and weapons charges, Fulton County District Attorney’s Office spokesman Dontaye Carter said.
They are also charged — for the second time — with possession of a pistol or revolver by a person under age 18.
The brothers allegedly shot and killed 50-year-old Anthony Brooks Nov. 10, 2016, outside a gas station on Campellton Road.

When the teenagers were arrested in connection with Brooks’ homicide, they’d been arrested and released times, Carter said.
Charlie and Isaac McDaniel had more than 100 interactions with police, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported. The boys were not enrolled in school and were alleged gang members who accumulated more than 30 auto theft and robbery charges between them in Atlanta.
That’s when they attacked Brooks and subsequently shot and killed him, Carter said.
