All Atlanta-area Chick-fil-A restaurants will offer a free chicken sandwich to any educator or school administrator Tuesday.

The promotion requires a valid school ID and runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., while supplies last, the company said in a news release Monday.

“Our teachers do so much to support the future of students here in Atlanta,” said Chris Darley, franchise operator of the Chick-fil-A at East Lake. “We want to use this day to recognize our educators for their hard work and to thank them for their service to our community.”

The offer is limited to one free Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich per visit.

Streets are packed with those marching to March For Science at Candler Park in DeKalb County.

Donald Trump's administration deployed the military to Washington, D.C., in the name of fighting crime, and in an Aug. 11 news conference he mentioned the possibility of military being sent to other large American cities, all of which are led by Black, Democratic mayors. And while Atlanta wasn't included in Trump's list, the city fits that profile under Mayor Andre Dickens. (Photo Illustration: Philip Robibero / AJC | Source: Getty)
