Storm causes some flooding in Sandy Springs; Avoid these N. Fulton roads

Folks driving around North Fulton on Wednesday should avoid a few roads in Sandy Springs.
Due to the severe storms affecting much of metro Atlanta, some flooding has occurred.
The City of Sandy Springs is asking drivers to avoid Spalding Drive and Pitts Road due to flooding. Crews were on the scene at 10:45 a.m., but lane closures are possible.
Then, at 12:46 p.m., the city reported flooding at the intersection of Concourse Parkway and Peachtree Dunwoody Road, and also at the intersection of Sandy Springs Circle and Johnson Ferry Road.

Flooding has been reported @ Concourse Parkway/ Peachtree Dunwoody and also @ Sandy Springs Circle and Johnson Ferry Road.

Power lines at Brandon Hall Drive and Spalding Drive also went down Wednesday morning in Sandy Springs, but those roads were cleared around noon.
Tornado watches were issued across the metro Atlanta region Wednesday morning and flights were grounded at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Also, Six Flags Over Georgia has closed for the day.
