There’s already snow at Stone Mountain Park. Well ... “snow.”

But the tourist destination, home to the annually manufactured Snow Mountain, is watching the forecast as the area is expected to possibly get several inches of the real thing.

“At this time we are planning on operating as normal. We have both Snow Mountain and attractions scheduled to be open from 10 a.m.–6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday,” Jeanine Jones, public relations manager, said in an email Thursday morning. “We are certainly monitoring the weather very closely though.”

Snow Mountain, created by machines and loved by locals, holds tons of snow and features 20 tubing lanes.
