South Cobb High to get new theater by 2018

May 19, 2017A new theater should be open by November 2018 at South Cobb High School, 1920 Clay Road, Austell.
The Cobb County Board of Education voted 6-0-1 Thursday to award the construction contract to Nix-Fowler Constructors, Inc. of Mableton for $9,415,000.
Absent was board member Susan Thayer.
Funding will come from Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) IV to replace this theater.
