Do you own a shed? Snellville Police have an important message for you.

A 'dirtbag' is responsible for a string of shed break-ins around Snellville, according to police.

The department took to Facebook to warn residents of the potential danger.

There have been nine reported incidents over the last 3 weeks, according to a statement by Snellville P.D.

Most of the properties affected in the past few weeks have been located south of South Gwinnett High School, according to the Facebook post.

Police encourage residents to invest in obstacles for potential thieves such as security systems, lights and locked doors and windows.
