Before the College Football Playoff National Championship trophy is awarded to the Georgia Bulldogs or Alabama Crimson Tide, you can see it up close and personal at a Suwanee Walmart.

The trophy will make a stop at the store at 3245 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road on Friday, Jan. 5 from noon to 2 p.m. You can look at it and take photos with it, but please do not touch the 24-karat gold plated tribute to football glory. Touching or holding the trophy will not be allowed, a Walmart spokeswoman said.
