Survey comments are due by 5 p.m. Nov. 17 on North Cooper Lake’s Bike Park and Trails.

The survey needs to be delivered to the Smyrna Community Center, 200 Village Green Circle.

Progressive Bike Ramps of Joplin, Missouri has been contracted by the city to develop an overall conceptual plan for the trails and bike park at North Cooper Lake Park. Then Smyrna will use that plan as a part of a Recreational Trails Grant application for the park.

Nearly 100 cyclists attended a public meeting on Nov. 9 to voice their opinions on what they would like to see done to the park and trails. The 51-acre park, 4201 Cooper Lake Road, has a community garden, open space, a mountain bike trail, a walking trail and restrooms.
