Keep Smyrna Beautiful announced the new racks on its Facebook page ThursdayThe city's non-profit beautification program was given a $5,000 grant by Keep America Beautiful in April to install the racks.

The city got suggestions on locations by asking folks to use an online mapping system.

The racks, which can accommodate 24 bicycles, are located at: Jonquil Park near the trail to the Braves’ SunTrust Park, Brawner Park, the Smyrna Museum in order to serve the Market Village area and Ward Park.

The KSB commission consists of appointees selected by the mayor and council. Those appointees then pick eight at-large members to join the organization’s board.
