The Smyrna City Council approved 7-0 Tuesday parking rules around SunTrust Park or any event attracting at least 2,000 participants to the city on any given day.
With no fee - unlike Cobb's annual $55 registration fee, registration of special event parking lots will be required by Smyrna on commercial property, including churches.

Among many regulations, parking fees displayed on required signs by businesses may decrease but not increase during the event day.
Registration forms will be available at the Smyrna Community Development Department at 770-319-5387 or Brawner Hall, 3180 Atlanta Road, Smyrna.
