Pop singer Aaron Carter was freed Sunday on bond after an arrest on DUI, possession of marijuana and “drug-related objects” charges.

The 29-year-old was arrested with his girlfriend, Madison Parker, Saturday night in Habersham County, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported.

Habersham County is about 90 minutes north of Atlanta.

Carter, who is the younger brother of Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter, missed a scheduled show in Kansas City because of the arrest.

The singer’s Twitter account stated Carter had “transportation issues.”
