A Hall County man is facing charges in connection to secretly filming a minor with a cellphone, officials said.
Shomari M. Harrison, 37, of Gainesville, allegedly shared a video of a 17-year-old girl without her consent, Hall County sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Scott Ware said.
The girl’s family reached out to officials and arrest warrants were secured Oct. 24 on charges of sexual exploitation of a child and eavesdropping, Ware said. Harrison was arrested Monday.
At the time of his arrest, Harrison was also wanted on a simple battery charge from August, Ware said.
Harrison is in the Hall County jail being held without bond.
