A second home has had its backyard raided of birdseed by a black bear, Channel 2 Action News reported.

This time the seed burglar was caught red-pawed in Duluth, where Allison LaMay and her family saw a bear eating from two backyard bird feeders as they sat at their kitchen table.

Still hungry after devouring seed from one feeder, the bear moved across the yard for more, LaMay told Channel 2.

“He just slowly moseyed around here and went to that bird feeder and did the same thing — got up on his hind legs and into that bird feeder,” LaMay told Channel 2.

Both LaMay and Bruce Zavitz, who spotted a large bear in his backyard in Sugar Hill, contacted the Georgia Department of Natural Resources after seeing the animals near their homes. DNR advises that bears are attracted to birdseed and will eat it from backyard feeders if they smell it.
