Rowell Mayor Jere Wood invites the public to a series of Bicycle Advisory Committee meetings to talk about bicycling in the city and area of possible improvements for the traveling public, whether on two or four wheels.

All meetings are scheduled for 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays: Jan. 18 at Metro Diner, 880 Holcomb Bridge Road; April 19 at Lucky’s Burger & Brew, 1144 Alpharetta St.; July 19 at Moxie Burger at Founders Square, 555 S. Atlanta St.; and Sept. 20 at Metro Diner.

Roswell established the bike committee in the fall of 2014 after it became the first city in Georgia to earn a “Bicycle-Friendly Community” designation, officials said.
