Roswell Inc has announced a three-year study of local retailing, with an emphasis on the six main corridors identified as the largest shopping areas in the community.

The economic development entity has partnered with Georgia Power to retain NextSite, a retail consultant, to focus on Ga. 92 from Woodstock to Mountain Park roads; Ga. 9 from Mansell Road north; the historic district from Woodstock Road to the Chattahoochee River; and Holcomb Bridge Road at Ga. 9, from Ga. 400 to Martin Landing Drive, and east from Scott Road.

“The retail industry is changing rapidly across the country, and with retail being our second-biggest industry in Roswell, it’s important that we invest in projects like this that will help our community adapt,” said Steve Stroud, executive director of Roswell Inc.

Data to be collected and analyzed will include consumer attitudes and behavior, market segmentation, competitor analysis and identification of retail prospects, officials said. Information: http://bit.ly/2kUm2I8
