The Roswell City Council has awarded a $43,300 surveying contract for the initial design phase of the Riverside Road Complete Street Project.

TerraMark, a land survey company, is tasked with surveying about 7,000 linear feet of Riverside, roughly 27 acres of coverage. The surveyor will look at topography, drainage, intersection location at each end of the project, utilities, trees of a certain size and adjacent properties, an estimated 40 parcels.

Plans for Riverside are expected to include improved bicycle and pedestrian facilities, streetscape features, landscaping, and safety and operational improvements at multiple intersections, according to a staff report to the council. The improvements could include roundabouts and mini roundabouts.
