Roswell crews have been preparing for days in anticipation of what has been called "biggest snow threat" in two years.

“All of our supplies and equipment are ready in the event we receive inclement weather,” a Roswell spokeswoman said. “The city is adjusting crew schedules and pre-treatment plans as we get a clearer picture of the amounts and arrival times of the weather.”

Roswell has not cancelled any events at this time, she said.

Johns Creek officials are having an update meeting Thursday afternoon to discuss the city's emergency preparationsand Sandy Springs has mobilized its "winter storm emergency team." 

Alpharetta has proactively cancelled all weekend recreation programs and activities — including Friday night athletic practices.
