Henry County officials have closed a road and marked detours while a pipe is repaired.

Henry County officials recently announced on the county’s Facebook page that a portion of Leguin Mill Road would be closed until further notice.

The specific location of the closing was reported to be between 235 and 265 Leguin Mill Road, between Peeksville Road and Harris Drive. Officials said the purpose of the closure is for a road structure issue due to a deteriorated pipe at Browns Creek. It will be necessary to keep the road closed until the pipe in question is replaced, according to the report. A marked detour will be in place to assist motorists in navigating the area.

The detour includes Peeksville Road (east of Leguin Mill), North Unity Grove Road, and Colvin Drive, according to officials.
