Four businesses in Powder Springs received penalties last week from the Powder Springs City Council for selling alcohol to minors.

Both Fast Track Sonoco, 4150 Marietta St. and S & A Food Mart / BP, 3930 Austell Powder Springs Road received 60-day license suspensions and five-year probations. Los Portales Mexican Restaurant, 4093 Marietta St., Powder Springs was given a 15-day license suspension and a two-year probation.

American Spirits, 5780 C.H. James Parkway, Suite 240, Powder Springs received a 15-day license suspension.
