A man’s body found earlier this month in a retention pond has been identified by dental records, police said Monday.

Dunwoody police officers found the body of 37-year-old Mark Nucera on Feb. 10 in a pond behind a house on Kingsland Drive, Dunwoody police spokesman Sgt. Robert Parsons said in a news release.

Nucera had been reported missing on Dec. 14.

The DeKalb County Medical Examiner’s Office made the identification but has not identified the cause and manner of Nucera’s death, Parsons said.

However, foul play is not suspected, according to the medical examiner.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Ehlbeck at 678-382-6925.
