Perimeter Mall renovation continues with Apple store move
UPDATE: The new store is located on the upper level, in the Dillard's wing, next to The Limited, according to a spokesperson.
ORIGINAL STORY: Tomorrow, the Apple store at Perimeter Mall will exist in a different location than it does today.
So if you've been planning to check out the iPhone 7 or Apple Watch Series 2 at the Dunwoody mall soon, be aware of the impending move.
The only problem: the exact location has not yet been revealed.
A receptionist in the management office said that the mall has been very "hush-hush" about it, but confirmed that it would remain on the second floor.
A man in the Apple store said he, nor other staff in the store, knew where the store would be opening less than 24 hours later.
The move comes amidst other changes at the mall this year, spurred by a multi-million dollar renovation that includes a new interior and new stores, such as candy store Lolli & Pops.
Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar opened in April, and Shake Shack is slated to open this year.
