Norcross is seeking applicants to serve on the Downtown Development Authority.

The Norcross Downtown Development Authority has an opening. Applications for the position appointed by the mayor and city council are due March 3.

The DDA is “dedicated to the development, growth and preservation of all business areas” and help advance projects within the city. Recent efforts include attracting economic development to the downtown area and expanding the area toward Buford Highway. They work to integrate parts of the 2030 Comprehensive Plan, the 2010 Parking Study, the Town Center LCI, the Redevelopment Area Overlay District, the Gwinnett Village CID plan for Buford Highway, and input from the citizens of Norcross.
