The Common Market of Georgia will host the grand opening of its 60,000-square-foot warehouse and 6,500 square foot cooler space 5:30 to 8 p.m. Nov. 17 at 1050 Oakleigh Drive in East Point. Remarks and the ribbon cutting will take place at 6:45 p.m.

The Common Market of Georgia is a nonprofit regional food distributor with a mission to connect communities with good food from sustainable family farms. They partner with hospitals, schools, and universities to build local economies and increase access to local foods. They are a primarily minority and women owned company. The Common Market of Georgia is affiliated with Common Market of Philadelphia.
