The Norcross City Council voted recently to approve a zoning change to allow for a townhome community on what is known as the Kelly Street Property. The 5.5 acres front Kelly and Thrasher streets. Following a lengthy process to address traffic concerns, the developer Georgia-Tennesee Development Partners LLC, presented an updated site plan Monday evening changing the entrance to West Peachtree Street.

The plan includes a 20-foot setback from the Southern Railroad tracks with landscaping. The development will include 47 units, each with a two-car garage and parking for at least two additional vehicles plus parking at common spaces for a total of 208 parking spaces. Each home is intended to have an approximate 26-foot by 45-foot dimension with perimeter fencing around the entire site. The development will include rooftop terraces, stormwater facility, and a community dog park.
