Mega Millions winner has only 1 week to claim $1 million prize
The Mega Millions winning ticket was purchased in West Point.

That’s all one lucky Mega Millions winner has left to claim their $1 million prize, Georgia Lottery officials said Monday.
The ticket, purchased in West Point, is set to expire Sunday.
Officials said the winner purchased the ticket Aug. 8 at the Summit Food Store on Ga. 18.
The winning numbers that day were 11, 17, 50, 52 and 74, and the Mega Ball was 14. The prize was won by matching the first five numbers.
Georgia winners have 180 days to claim their Mega Millions prizes.
