Totaling $156,046, nine properties will be acquired by Marietta as decided by the Marietta City Council on Oct. 10.
Not the project costs, the property acquisition costs - from most expensive to least - are:
- 594 Powder Springs St. from Janice B. Miller to construct the Powder Springs Streetscape - Sandtown Road to South Marietta Parkway Project for $62,000.
- 577 Powder Springs St. from Felix Roberto Lopez and Patricia Lopez to construct the Powder Springs Streetscape - Sandtown Road to South Marietta Parkway Project for $25,440.
- 306 S. Fairground St. and 310 S. Fairground St. from Carney Holdings, LLC to construct the Fairground Street - South Marietta Parkway to Roswell Street (Fairground B) for $18,200.
- 300 Powder Springs St. from Lea CVS Marietta, LLC to construct the Powder Springs Streetscape - Sandtown Road to South Marietta Parkway Project for $17,384.
- 1083 Allgood Road from Gracelife Church to construct the intersection - Allgood Road and Sawyer Road Project for $11,300.
- 319 Manget St. from 319 Manget, LLC to construct the Manget Street Improvements - Manget Street at Lakewood Drive Project for nearly $10,697, including resodding the front yard with the existing type of grass and resurfacing the driveway from the curb to the rear corner of the house.
- 44 S. Fairground St. from Marietta Foreign Auto Parts to construct the Fairground Street - South Marietta Parkway to Roswell Street (Fairground B) Project for almost $8,525.
- 344 Fairground St. from AB Partners LP to construct the Fairground Street - South Marietta Parkway to Roswell Street (Fairground B) Project for $2,500.
