Marietta salaries raised for 6 contracted, appointed employees

Pay increases were approved Wednesday by the Marietta City Council for six contracted or appointed city employees.

All Marietta employees received a 3 percent pay raise at the beginning of January, wrote Marietta Communications and Governmental Relations Manager Lindsey Wiles in an email Thursday to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The City Council approved the following increases:

  • 4 percent for City Manager Bill Bruton from $198,918.75 to $206,875.50
  • 5 percent for Board of Lights and Water General Manager Ronald Mull from $123,600 to $129,780
  • 3 percent for Municipal Court Chief Judge Roger Rozen from $68,025 to $70,065.75
  • 3 percent for Prosecuting Attorney Robert Donovan from $64,695 to $66,635.85
  • 5 percent for City Clerk Stephanie Guy from $61,800 to $64,890
  • 3 percent for Mayor's Administrative Assistant Betsy Kelley from $35,985 to $38,188.80 at 34 hours per week
