Marietta to host downtown walking meeting

Marietta city officials are seeking the community’s input for its Envision Marietta, Livable Centers Initiative Study from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.

City residents are asked to meet at the Marietta Square, 39-75 E Park Square as a part of the December First Friday Art Walk.

The city’s Economic Development Department will host this Community Meeting Planner Crawl in the heart of Marietta Square.

City staff will meet with interested participants at four locations in and around Glover Park for them to share their ideas on Downtown Marietta with check-in at Glover Park:

  • Glover Park: What would they like to preserve?
  • DK Gallery: What would they like to create?
  • Mural Wall: What would they like to connect?
  • Local Exchange: What would they like to change?
