DeKalb County police are searching for a dementia patient who went missing while visiting from Trinidad.

Maurice Taitt, 78, has been missing five days since leaving his son’s home off Stewart Mill Road near Stone Mountain, police said Tuesday.

He is in the early stages of dementia and is diabetic but has no medicine. He also has no money. He was wearing a brown and orange shirt with black shorts, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 770-724-7710.
