Man arrested in fatal Cobb shooting, police seeking 2nd murder suspect

Cobb County police have arrested one man and are looking for another in a shooting that left a man dead and another injured Tuesday morning.

Carl Maurice McCline, 26, was arrested on a warrant about 2 a.m. Wednesday and booked on charges of murder, aggravated assault and other weapons charges, according to jail records.

The arrest occurred 16 hours after the 10 a.m. shooting at the Belmont Place Apartments in the 2800 block of Windy Hill Road.

Police have a warrant to arrest 26-year-old Charon Brazzel on the same murder and assault charges, said Cobb police spokeswoman Alicia Chilton.
