Cobb County officials will offer two opportunities in April to learn how to do business with the county.

  • "Doing Business with Community Development" will be 6 to 7:30 p.m. April 19 at the Senior Services Dinner Theater, 1150 Powder Springs St., Marietta. Cobb Community Development staff from Business License, Development and Inspections will share information about their divisions and on the process needed to obtain a business license. They also will present information on building permits and inspections for occupying existing commercial structures. Class instructors will answer questions after the presentation.   • "How To Do Business with Cobb County" will be 5 to 7 p.m. April 30 in the Cobb Board of Commissioners Room, second floor, 100 Cherokee St., Marietta. Participants will learn about vendor opportunities, meet department representatives, network with local business owners and hear about the Local Vendor Preference.
