A new Clear Bag Policy will be implemented by the Kennesaw State Athletics Department to regulate the size and type of bag that may be carried into Fifth Third Bank Stadium for football games this fall.

The new policy mirrors similar policies that have been adopted in the NFL, SEC and ACC to protect fans inside the stadium, according to a KSU statement.

Fans are encouraged not to bring any types of bags inside the stadium during football games except for one of the following bags per ticketed customer:

  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12 inches by 6 inches by x 12 inches; or
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags; or
  • Small clutch bags, with or without a handle or strap, that do not exceed 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches (approximately the size of a hand).

An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose.

Guests will continue to be able to carry in items, allowed in permissible clear bags, such as binoculars and cameras.

Seat cushions and wallets also will be permitted.

This policy pertains to bags and is not an all-inclusive list of items that are prohibited in the stadium.
