A Cobb County man was indicted earlier this month on charges he beat his ex-girlfriend so badly her spleen, ribs and vertebrae were rendered “useless,” according to court documents.

Jaxzon Fischer, 32, of Kennesaw, faces three counts of aggravated battery and one count of cruelty to children in connection with the March 2017 incident in Cherokee County.

Police allege Fischer beat his ex-girlfriend in front of her child.

Fischer was arrested in April 2017 and released from the Cherokee County jail on a $25,000 bond, Cherokee sheriff’s spokeswoman Sgt. Marianne Kelley said.

He is due in court for arraignment Feb. 8.
