Senior Judge Rusty Carlisle issued an unusual sentence to a man who pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide last month.

The judge said he wants to make sure Daniel Crane remembers his victim.

“I wasn’t doing it to humiliate the man. I thought, it wouldn’t harm anyone, and it might let the family at ease,” Carlisle said.
