Outdoor life in Johns Creek just got a little more entertaining.

The city council recently approved park design concepts for five new parks located at Cauley Creek, Morton Road, State Bridge Road, Bell and Boles Roads, and Technology Park Linear Park.

City staff spent weeks collaborating with three separate design firms and gathering public feedback to craft each park mockup.

However, things aren’t finalized just yet. Johns Creek residents will have to decide on Election Day whether they approve a $40 million parks bond referendum. That referendum will be used for development of new and existing city parks and the acquisition of additional parks and greenspace.

Although the concepts are approved, residents can still offer input on the park designs. Email your ideas to parkdesign@johnscreekga.gov.
