If you live in Roswell and your garbage was supposed to be picked up on Wednesday, you may be wondering when it will.

Because of snow, ice and a frigid wind chill, all garbage pick up in the city in north Fulton County was pushed back a day.

So, have no fear, folks in Roswell. Your garbage will be picked up soon enough.

Here's the pick-up schedule for the rest of the week from the city:

• Wednesday Customers: Yard waste and recycling will be picked up today, Jan. 18. Garbage will be picked up on Friday, Jan. 19.

• Thursday Customers: Yard waste and recycling will be picked up on Friday, Jan. 19. Garbage will be picked up on Saturday, Jan. 20.

• Friday Customers: Yard waste and recycling will be picked up on Saturday, Jan. 20. Garbage will be picked up on Monday, Jan. 22.

The city says that road conditions may delay service in some areas. The normal schedule should resume by next Tuesday.
