A Tennessee company announced Wednesday its plan to bring a 170-room dual hotel to Town Center at Cobb.

Vision Hospitality Group wants to build a hybrid facility of a Home2 Suites with extended stay suites and a Tru by Hilton hotel by spring 2018.

It'll be the Chattanooga company's ninth project in metro Atlanta it either operates or has developed.

"Having the opportunity to partner with such premium brands and develop this project in Atlanta’s expanding market emphasizes Vision’s ongoing growth strategy," said Mitch Patel, Vision's president.

Vision is involved with two other Kennesaw hotels — The Homewood Suites by Hilton and the Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta NW/Kennesaw Town Center.

The company is planning to build a Hampton Suites in Decatur.

The planned Kennesaw site is at George Busbee Parkway and Town Center Drive. It was proposed in August.

This project will be four stories and feature an outdoor saltwater pool, a fitness center and a 24-hour business center.
