A rezoning from residential-agricultural for highway commercial for 2.18 acres on Mt. Olive Road, just north of Jonesboro Road and the Henry Town Center retail complex, was approved unanimously by the Henry County Board of Commissioners at its April 17 regular meeting.
The purpose of the request by Southern Consulting of Stockbridge was for commercial/business offices, according to the application. The Zoning Advisory Board voted in November to recommend denial that zoning and approval of neighborhood commercial zoning with conditions.
