The Hapeville City Council will hold a public hearing 6 p.m. Tuesday at Hapeville City Hall, 700 Doug Davis Drive for an ordinance to amend the official city map due to the recent renaming of Dearborn Plaza to Samuel Hape Plaza.
Another agenda item is to consider purchase of equipment for the water and sewer department. The Council will discuss buying a backhoe loader for $ 94,345. The city’s current loader is a 1998 model and has been down for repairs numerous times in the past year.
The Council will also discuss making appointments to various city boards. The ethics committee, planning commission, the development authority and the city’s board of appeals all have vacancies to be filled.
