Gwinnett County’s lifeguards are ready to save you. So ready, that they just won the Georgia Recreation and Park Association winter lifeguard games for the second year in a row.

The lifeguards practiced over the holidays at multiple pools in Gwinnett County to perfect their swim relays, lifeguarding skills and teamwork.

The team was made up of lifeguards from aquatic centers across Gwinnett County. Bogan Park Aquatic Center pool manager Holly Smith, Collins Hill Park Aquatic Center pool manager Brad Miller and Mountain Park Aquatic Center lifeguards Aliyah Berry, Jacob Finco and Joel Nickerson helped Gwinnett County swim to the win.
