Gwinnett County is offering a low adoption rate on cats and dogs for the month of June.

In the “Catapalooza” discount event, you can adopt a cat for only $10. Dogs are included too, for a $30 adoption fee.

Cats often give birth to litters of kittens at high volumes in the summer months, filling shelters with adoptable pets. June is also National Adopt a Shelter Cat Month, Gwinnett Animal Welfare said.

You can find your new furry friend at the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter, located at 884 Winder Hwy. in Lawrenceville.
