Gwinnett County firefighters respond to 2nd fatal fire in two days
Gwinnett County firefighters are investigating another fatal house fire—the third fatal fire in metro Atlanta in the past two days.
The blaze, which occurred in the 2800 block of Esom Drive near Snellville, was contained and fire crews located the unidentified victim inside, fire spokesman Tommy Rutledge said.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
Earlier this week, a Gwinnett man lost his wife, two daughters and dog in a fire near Tucker on Tuesday; and on Wednesday a man died after a space heater started a fire in his Paulding County mobile home.
