Gwinnett County police are looking for a man who allegedly carjacked a taxi driver on May 9 in Norcross.

Gwinnett County police are looking for a man who allegedly carjacked a taxi driver on May 9 in Norcross.

Gwinnett County police are looking for a man suspected of carjacking a taxi driver on May 9.

The driver picked up the suspect from the Shell gas station at Jimmy Carter Boulevard and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Norcross and drove him to an apartment complex.

Once they got to the complex on Preston Lake Drive, the suspect pulled out a gun and demanded the driver hand over all his money, police said. After the driver gave the suspect the money, the suspect forced the driver out of the car and drove away.

The suspect is described as approximately 20 years old, standing 5 feet 6 inches. He was wearing a black T-shirt, olive green pants, white sneakers and a blue backpack the day of the incident. The taxi has been recovered.
