Two weeks after someone fatally hit and dragged a pedestrian before speeding off, Gwinnett County police have found the car, but are still looking for the driver.

On Jan. 6, 46-year-old Ramon Carrion was hit and dragged a quarter of a mile in a Norcross shopping center parking lot. Once the driver realized that her or she was dragging a person, the car sped away, leaving Carrion for dead. Carrion’s body was found hours later by police.

The Gwinnett County Police Department announced it had found the car Friday, and they are still looking for the driver.

Investigators are working to determine who the driver was in the deadly incident. Anyone with information related to this case can call a hit and run tip line at 770-442-5653 or make an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.
