UPDATE: Georgia State University police arrested the suspect on multiple counts, according to a Wednesday post on Georgia Tech police's Twitter.

UPDATE (published May 23): The suspect has been identified as Larry Ford, according to the Georgia Tech Police Department's Twitter page.

“Ford has been linked to numerous bike thefts on the Georgia Tech campus; warrants have been secured for his arrest,” the Tuesday morning post says.

ORIGINAL STORY (published May 10): Georgia Tech police are looking for a man who allegedly stole a student's bicycle from a campus building Tuesday.

The student who owns the bike took a picture of the suspect outside the Centennial Research Building after telling the man it was his property, police said on Twitter. 

The suspect then fled north across 10th Street on State Street towards Home Park, police said.

The suspect may be 44 to 55 years old. Anyone who sees him is asked to call the police department at 404-894-2500.
