A garbage truck caught fire in Gwinnett County late Monday morning.

The truck was reported on fire at 10:37 a.m. on Castle Drive Southwest in unincorporated Lawrenceville. The driver had made it out of the truck safe as the fire started in the back end of the vehicle.

The fire was under control by 11:22 a.m. No cause has been determined yet, according to Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services.
